CHILKA : Chilka is India's biggest inland lake. It is encircled by hills and dotted with many emerald green island with colourful names such as Honeymoon Island, Breakfast Island, etc. It forms an enormous lagoon of brackish water while joining the sea. It is the home of a rich variety of aquatic fauna. The main attractions within the lake is a migratory birds island, Kaljai Temple, Parikud and Malud islands.
